Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Mammography Radiologic Technologist in Chicago. Schedule: 20 hours per week, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with rotating every other Saturday, at two locations. No on-call.

The role requires accuracy in imaging and safety and involves direct patient care and film handling. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT radiography and mammography licensure, CPR certification, and 3 years of radiography experience (mammography preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology.
• ARRT certificate/licensure in radiography and mammography.
• CPR certification and active licensure.
• Knowledge of health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and select appropriate mammography technique for quality films.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Label and file mammograms, maintain patient records, and ensure QC per ACR.
• Provide patient care, maintain communications with radiologists and staff.
