Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist specializing in mammography in the Atlanta area. The role includes performing stereotactic biopsy procedures and QC activities, and conducting a full range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.

The position requires ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography, BLS, and the ability to work with autonomy under indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC in mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.
