Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform mammography studies, including stereotactic procedures. Candidates must hold an accredited degree and certification in Radiography and Mammography.

The ideal applicant has experience in mammography and is capable of working autonomously. A commitment to quality care and patient safety is essential for this role.

Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Competency in stereotactic biopsy and ability to perform QC related to mammography.
• Perform all types of mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms.
• Work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.
