Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform stereotactic procedures and comprehensive QC. The role requires autonomy and the ability to handle various mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography and possess BLS credentials, with preferred experience in mammography and related QC tasks, ideally within a clinical research

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT as Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or QC specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of experience in mammography.
• One year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or QC in mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.

Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.

Work Hours:

Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm and Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm
