Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography. The role requires performing all mammography studies, including stereotactic needle localization and ductograms, with autonomy and adherence to QC standards.

Candidates must be ARRT Radiography and Mammography certified and hold BLS. Preference given to those with breast imaging experience and familiarity with clinical research settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)) certification required.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC in mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association BLS.

Responsibilities

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.
