Job summary

Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, ME, seeks a full-time Mammographer to perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density/Dexa exams, meeting ARRT, ACR, FDA/MQSA requirements.

The role requires Maine radiologic licenses and ARRT Mammography certification within one year of hire. Sign-on bonus eligibility and a umfassive QA focus are included in duties.

Qualifications

• State of Maine Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must obtain ARRT Mammography certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammogram procedures.
• Review mammogram reports for follow up imaging needs and coordinate imaging with patient or ordering office.
• Review daily schedules and charges for accuracy.
• Perform and document QC to ensure equipment functions per MQSA/FDA and ACR requirements.
• Track and maintain data for MQSA/FDA and ACR inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
