Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR, is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a full-time day shift.

You will perform mammography exams using advanced equipment, tailoring imaging to each patient’s needs and physician orders to deliver optimal images and patient care.

Required qualifications include Oregon Radiographer License, ARRT in Radiography, ARRT Mammography within 6 months, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification required; Mammography credential within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders and uses imaging factors to produce optimal images.
• Uses knowledge and judgment regarding imaging technique and patient positioning to accommodate individual needs.
