InterMed, P.A. in Scarborough, ME, is hiring a Mammography Technologist for our new Scarborough Downs location with an anticipated January 2027 start date. This role requires radiology experience and ARRT certifications, and offers a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, maintain accurate records, and work with radiologists to ensure high-quality images while adhering to MQSA, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous radiology experience preferred; previous mammography experience strongly preferred.
• AMA accredited radiology program completion required.
• ARRT certified in mammography, digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis.
• Maintains MQSA, HIPAA and accreditation standards.

Mansioni

• Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and radiology protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Work with radiologists to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment.
• Stay current on best practices and accreditation requirements.
