Job summary

Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, ME, is seeking a PRN Mammographer to perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density/Dexa examinations, meeting ARRT, ACR, FDA/MQSA requirements.

You will review imaging, coordinate with patients and offices, perform QC, ensure MQSA/ACR compliance, and assist with inspections. Maine license and ARRT Mammography certification within one year of hire are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification and state licensure required.
• Mammography training preferred but cross-training possible.
• Must obtain ARRT Mammography certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammogram procedures.
• Review mammogram reports and arrange follow-up imaging as needed.
• Review daily schedules and charges for accuracy.
• Perform QC and document MQSA/FDA/ACR compliance.
• Maintain data for MQSA/FDA and ACR inspections.
