Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images with patient comfort in mind.

Maine licensure or eligibility, plus an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, are required.

The role includes on-call and holiday rotation and collaboration with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure safe, high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) with Maine licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic quality images with patient comfort.
• Maintains patient safety and radiation safety practices.
• Communicates with patients, physicians, and other health care team members.
• Performs imaging procedures following department protocols and quality standards.
