Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammography procedures under the supervision of the Radiology leadership. The role requires registration with ARRT and NH licensure, with advanced mammography certification due within two years of hire.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and adherence to safety standards while maintaining departmental productivity and participating in committee initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Current ARRT registration; advanced mammography certification required within 2 years of hire.
• NH licensure and certification with the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within department standards.
• Assesses information, prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
• Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
• Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment.
• Maintains productivity and timeliness to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to safety protocols specific to the modality.
• Participates in departmental and modality meetings and committee initiatives.
• Completes required hospital, departmental and professional responsibilities.
• Contributes to continuous improvement aligned with management goals.
