Job summary

CHS Career Site in Statesboro, GA is seeking a Mammography Technologist I to perform screening and diagnostic mammography with a focus on patient comfort and safety. You will work with Radiologists to provide high-quality imaging and ensure compliance with FDA/MQSA and ACR standards.

Qualifications include ARRT Mammography certification and state licensure, 1–3 years radiologic imaging experience, and strong communication skills. This is a part-time opportunity with day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of radiologic imaging experience required
• 2–4 years as a mammographer in an acute care hospital preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography imaging with high-quality results through proper positioning and compression
• Adheres to safety protocols, radiation protection and infection control standards
• Maintains equipment functionality and conducts routine quality control
• Reviews orders and patient history to ensure correct procedures
• Educates patients on breast health and procedure expectations
• Assists radiologists with mammography-guided procedures maintaining sterile technique
• Prepares patients for invasive procedures and provides post-procedure guidance
• Maintains documentation and image storage per regulations
• Manages inventory and supplies for daily operations
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies
