Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist per state requirements
• ARRT Radiography Certification required
• ARDMS or ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility within six months of hire
• BCLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures with proper positioning and compression.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Ensures equipment is functional and quality control is performed per standards.
• Reviews orders and patient history for accurate imaging and documentation.
• Educates patients on breast health and procedure expectations.
• Assists radiologists in specialized procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
