Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in radiologic imaging
• 2-4 years experience as a mammographer in an acute care hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging procedures with high-quality results through proper positioning and compression
• Adhere to safety protocols, radiation protection standards and infection control guidelines
• Ensure equipment functionality and QC testing per regulatory requirements
• Review physician orders and patient history for accurate procedures
• Educate patients on breast health and procedure expectations
• Assist radiologists with mammography-guided procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Prepare patients for invasive procedures with clear instructions and post-procedure care
• Maintain documentation and image storage per regulations
• Manage inventory and supplies for daily operations
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies
