01 The Valley Hospital in Montvale, NJ is seeking a mammography technologist to operate imaging equipment for breast and DEXA exams, following physician orders and ensuring accurate patient verification and PACS archiving.

The role requires ARRT registration, Advanced Mammography Certification, NJ license, and CPR certification, with a preferred 1 year mammography experience. Shift Tue/Thu and every other Fri; no weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited radiography program and ARRT registration.
• Advanced Mammography Certification and NJ DEP license.
• Advanced Mammography Registry within 1 year of employment.
• Current CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• One year of radiology experience preferred; mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and operates imaging equipment following physician orders.
• Produces detailed scans for breast and DEXA exams.
• Verifies patient identification prior to scan.
• Selects patient from the work list and archives exams on the PACS.
• Maintains facilities in proper order and stays current with imaging procedures.
