01 The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood is seeking a mammography technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce detailed scans for patients. This role involves verifying patient identity, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality imaging services.
The ideal candidate will possess at least a year of experience and be registered in Radiology Technology. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition assistance.
Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the mammography technologist prepares for and operates imaging equipment following specific physicians' orders. Produces detailed computer-generated scans of patients for breast and DEXA exams, verifies patients' identification prior to scan, selects patient from work list, and ensures exam is archived on the PACS. Maintains facilities in proper order and keeps abreast of all new departmental imaging. Performs a variety of mammographic and DEXA procedures using X‑Rays.
Completion from an accredited radiography program and registration in radiography and mammography by the ARRT, or registry eligibility.
One year mammography experience preferred.

Pay Range: $43.35 - $54.19 (per hour). The salary listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
