Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a mammography technologist to perform mammography and DEXA studies under supervision. You will verify patient identity, set up and operate imaging equipment, and ensure proper archiving to PACS.

Excellent communication with patients and staff is essential. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT advanced Mammography Certification, a valid NJ license, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited radiography program with ARRT Mammography Certification.
• Must obtain ARRT advanced Mammography Registry within 1 year of employment.
• Valid/current NJ DEP license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment for mammography and DEXA exams as ordered.
• Verify patient identification and select from work list.
• Archive exams to PACS and maintain imaging areas in order.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.
