Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and DEXA procedures under supervision. You will verify patient identity, select the patient from the work list, and ensure scans are archived in PACS.

The role requires knowledge of anatomy, precise imaging, and collaboration with the health-system team. The ideal candidate holds ARRT with advanced Mammography Certification, NJ license, and CPR certification, with 1 year of radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited radiography program and ARRT registration with advanced Mammography Certification.
• Valid NJ State license and advancement registry within 1 year of employment.
• Current CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and perform mammography and DEXA procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Verify patient identification and select patient from work list.
• Produce detailed computer generated scans and ensure archiving to PACS.
• Maintain imaging facilities in proper order and stay updated on departmental imaging practices.
