01 The Valley Hospital in Montvale, NJ is seeking a mammography technologist to operate imaging equipment for breast and DEXA exams, following physician orders and ensuring accurate patient verification and PACS archiving.
The role requires ARRT registration, Advanced Mammography Certification, NJ license, and CPR certification, with a preferred 1 year mammography experience. Shift Tue/Thu and every other Fri; no weekends.
Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the mammography technologist prepares for and operates imaging equipment following specific physicians orders. Produces detailed computer‑generated scans of patients for breast and DEXA exams, verifies patients’ identification prior to scan, selects patient from work list, and ensures exam is archived on the PACS. Maintains facilities in proper order and keeps abreast of all new departmental imaging. Performs mammographic and DEXA procedures using X‑Rays.
Shift: Tuesday & Thursday, every other Friday. 8:00 – 4:30. No weekends or holidays.
Job Location: Montvale Market Square, Shift Day (United States of America).
One (1) year practical experience as a registered (ARRT) radiology technologist preferred; mammography experience preferred.
Pay Range: $43.35 – $54.19 per hour.
