01 The Valley Hospital in Montvale, NJ seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform breast and DEXA imaging under supervision, ensuring accurate patient identification and proper archiving to PACS. The role requires expertise with imaging equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications include accreditation in radiography, ARRT Mammography Certification, NJ license, and CPR. Prior mammography experience is preferred, with training provided to obtain registry within a year.
Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the mammography technologist prepares for and operates imaging equipment following specific physicians orders. The technologist produces detailed computer generated scans of patients for breast and DEXA exams, verifies patient identification prior to scan, selects patient from work list, and ensures exam is archived on the PACS. The technologist maintains facilities in proper order and keeps abreast of all new departmental imaging.
Shift: Monday & Wednesday; every other Friday, 8:00–4:30 (no weekends or holidays).
Job Location: Montvale Market Square, Day shift (United States of America).
Pay Range: $43.35 - $54.19 per hour.
