Job summary

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Mammography / DEXA Technologist to join the Toms River team. You will perform mammography examinations and must hold a valid ARRT with Mammography certification.

The role includes ensuring patient safety, supervising staff, and utilizing departmental clerical equipment. Compensation ranges from $34.00 – $46.00 per hour, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Mammography certification.
• Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of New Jersey.
• AHA or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required prior to employment.
• Full knowledge of all aspects of radiation protection.
• Prior DEXA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations according to departmental technical standards.
• Provide for the safety of patients and visitors.
• Complete related duties for efficient patient flow.
• Supervise and advise non-technical personnel.
• Utilize clerical equipment for maintaining office records.
