Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Radiologic Technologist with mammography expertise to join our imaging team. The role involves performing a full range of mammography studies, including stereotactic procedures, needle localization and ductograms, with a degree in Radiologic Technology.

Candidates must be ARRT registered in Radiography and Mammography and hold BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year of mammography experience and QC experience; clinical research exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with Radiography and Mammography credentials.
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC for mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of mammography studies including stereotactic procedures, needle localization and ductograms.
• Operate with autonomy and indirect supervision.
• Maintain QC for mammography equipment and processes.

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Experience in Clinical Research setting.
