Ascension's Optimal Imaging St. Vincent's in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join the Outpatient Imaging department.

You will perform advanced mammography with precise positioning and parameter selection, educate patients on procedures, and ensure high-quality images before PACS submission. You will adhere to radiation safety protocols, participate in equipment maintenance, and help manage departmental workflows, including troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health prior to hire; GA license not required for associates working in Georgia.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure; Mammography registry preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
• One or more of the following required:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure required. Mammography registry preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
