Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Mall Patrol to join our team at a busy mall location in Bethesda, MD. You will provide customer service, perform security procedures, and respond to incidents with professionalism while upholding site policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months of security-related experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license (per policy).
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership, site management, and law enforcement as appropriate.
