Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Shopping Mall Mobile Driver in Wheaton, MD. You will patrol and safeguard shoppers, tenants, and employees, provide exceptional customer service, and support access control at a dynamic retail property.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and driving to patrol and cover shifts, with a focus on safety, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols within the retail property including common areas and parking areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, or security concerns in line with site procedures.
• Assist with access control and addressing customer inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
