Job summary

Allied Universal® in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard (Patrol Driver) to protect shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff at a retail mall location. This role offers flexible day/evening shifts and a chance to earn by claiming additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
A background check and drug screen are required.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and mall personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas and parking zones.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to deter unauthorized activity and support a safe environment.
Document incidents and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
