Job summary

Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to safeguard clients at a financial institution, perform routine unarmed patrols, guard entrances and parking areas, and support access control using modern technology. The role offers flexible weekend and daytime shifts and opportunities to explore new assignments via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding emergency services.
