Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Miami, FL. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and shoppers at a retail mall location while supporting a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements must include a valid Driver’s license in the state of the job location.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• State/county/city security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and shift documentation.
