Job summary

Brookfield Properties seeks a Property Management Associate in Humble, TX to administer revenue programs, manage short-term leasing, and maintain retailer relations at Deerbrook Mall. You’ll coordinate merchant onboarding, licenses, and local events while ensuring compliance with brand standards and mall policies.

You will support marketing initiatives, partner with multiple teams, and help drive guest experience and community engagement in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years shopping center or retail experience
• Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, budgets, contracts, and legal documents
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Supervisory and coaching skills with ability to delegate tasks
• Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with merchants, customers, and co-workers
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, JDEdwards

Responsibilities

• Administer specialty leasing deals and kiosks; prepare deal sheets in Salesforce, facilitate license agreements, and onboard merchants
• Administer strategic partnership deals including collateral and installation/removal coordination
• Serve as primary on-site contact for business development; resolve issues and communicate with management
• Ensure merchants adhere to company guidelines and visual standards
• Screen, prospect, and route business development leads to appropriate representatives
• Coordinate merchant opening/closing logistics and vendor set activities
• Educate merchants on rent collection and manage accounts receivable
• Oversee storage rental and merchant insurance programs
• Support marketing programs and community events; maintain property social media and digital content
• Participate in on-site events and MOD coverage when required
