Job summary

Paycom seeks an Operations Manager for Mall at Prince Georges in Hyattsville, MD. The role focuses on cost-effective operation, maintenance, safety, and project management of the property assets while supporting the General Manager to achieve business metrics.

Responsibilities include managing capital and operating plans, maintaining assets, coordinating with tenants, vendors, and corporate departments, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent direct work experience.
• 2+ years of experience or training in shopping centers or equivalent management.
• 3+ years of facilities operations or construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a clean, well maintained property providing guests with a positive shopping experience.
• Oversee all physical assets to ensure they are maintained to required standards in the most economically efficient manner.
• Under the guidance of the GM, prepare and manage multi-year capital and operating expense plans to meet company expectations.
• Develop strong tenant relationships through pre-construction and follow-up meetings with tenant contractors to regulate compliance with rules and lease requirements.
• Implement and administer preventative maintenance programs and vendor/contractor compliance for all service contracts.
• Ensure property safety systems are code compliant and safety documentation is maintained and posted.
• Support Safety, Health, and Environment programs in planning and execution.
• Support sustainability efforts to reduce the property’s carbon footprint.
• Monitor utility consumption and building controls for efficiency.
• Manage and develop direct reports while ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Tenant Coordination, Leasing, Finance, HR, and other departments to meet objectives.
• Develop relationships with local officials and community stakeholders.
• Review and approve invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
• Oversee operations during crises to ensure safety of customers, tenants, guests and assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
