Job summary

Pacific Retail Capital Partners in Kahului, HI is seeking an Operations Manager to support the General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety. The role focuses on protecting long-term value, managing contracted services, and capital projects.

You should have a bachelor's degree and at least five years in operations or facilities; supervisory experience; ability to read blueprints; and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of operations, facilities, or property management experience.
• Experience supervising others is needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions is required.
• Ability to read/building blueprints, CAD drawings, and other schematic files.
• Proficient computer skills (email, Excel, Word, online order systems, etc.) are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the property's operations to protect, maintain, and improve value within contractual documents.
• Implement hazard control and team safety practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop preventive, ongoing maintenance and repair programs.
• Manage contracted services with scopes of work, bids, and performance monitoring.
• Lead maintenance team through supervision, training, and scheduling.
• Develop multi-year capital project plans and oversee execution.
• Review safety reports, identify trends, and implement preventive programs.
• Process and track insurance claims for risk mitigation.
• Oversee tenant construction with coordinators and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Monitor in-house and contracted services to maintain high standards.
• Prepare capital project Plans of Action and manage completion.
