Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to support mall properties across the region. You will troubleshoot lighting, perform general repairs, and help maintain safety practices on site.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
A strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Safety Oriented
Must be able to climb ladders, bending, lifting and working in varying weather conditions may be required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts and LED lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
Perform general repairs to walls ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
