Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to carry out fixture and lighting maintenance, general repairs, and routine inspections across mall properties.

You will identify safety hazards, perform preventive care, and ensure equipment is kept in safe working condition. The role requires basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry/painting skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or in a team, including exposure to varying weather and physical tasks such as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repair techniques.
• Strong work ethic and safety orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must be able to climb ladders and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts and LED lighting in common areas, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
• Perform general repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, locks, handrails, benches, and other mall property.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
