Job summary

Elevare Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct patient care and supervision for individuals in substance use and mental health treatment. The role supports clinical teams with safety monitoring, documentation, and therapeutic programming.

The BHT collaborates with licensed staff, participates in de-escalation, and ensures a structured, recovery-oriented environment in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, psychiatric care, or healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must hold a valid driver license and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supervision in treatment for substance use and mental health conditions.
• Monitor patient safety, document patient behavior, and support therapeutic programming.
• Maintain compliant documentation in the electronic health record and complete shift/incident reports.
• Assist with admissions, including consents, orientation, and patient searches, and ensure safety.
• Engage in de-escalation, crisis prevention, and collaboration with treatment team.
