Zusammenfassung

Mending Hearts is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for East Campus Detox/Residential to provide direct care and supervision in early recovery. You will monitor client safety, support daily living activities, and document observations in the EHR, working with clinical and nursing staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR within 90 days, and willingness to obtain LADAC licensure. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are possible in a trauma-informed program.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Actively pursuing LADAC or related licensure preferred.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license with F endorsement (or ability to obtain by start date).
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, observational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Monitor clients to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
• Conduct safety checks, observe client behavior, and respond to crises.
• Provide supervision during daily routines, meals, hygiene, and activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Support clients experiencing withdrawal or distress; use de-escalation techniques.
• Document client observations and progress in EHR systems; report changes promptly.
• Maintain clean, trauma-informed environment and follow HIPAA requirements.
