Valiant Residential is seeking a Make Ready who ensures vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status in a timely manner according to the manager’s timetable.

The candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks to prepare units for new move-ins and uphold our standards. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check and replace lights, windows, hinges, doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closets.
• Check appliances and inform Lead Maintenance of problems.
• Assist with painting and other repairs as requested.
• Assist during trash-out of the apartment and move bulky items to the dumpster.
• Lend support with appliance handling and installation where needed.
• Respond to on-call emergencies when required.
