Job summary

Fogelman Properties, LLC. is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician for the Retreat at Steeplechase in the Houston area. The role focuses on clearing, preparing, and turning vacant units for new residents, with a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license may be required. The team offers growth, a supportive environment, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in maintenance preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clear out and dispose of items left behind after move out.
• Complete make-ready apartments per move-out checklist, including painting.
• Perform new move-in service requests per checklist.
• Assist with inventory of supplies and furnish supervisor with needed list.
• Assist with other service requests and preventive maintenance projects.
