Job summary

NE Property Management is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to transform vacated apartments into market-ready homes. You will patch, paint, test appliances, and perform basic plumbing while maintaining curb appeal and coordinating with on-site teams.

The role requires 2+ years in groundskeeping or make-ready in a multi-family setting, with a focus on safety and quality work. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 35 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct groundskeeping or make-ready experience in multi-family or equivalent property environment.
• Active HVAC/EPA license or CPO designation is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and safe operation of hand tools, power blowers, ladders, and commercial painting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated spaces and complete checklists to return homes to market-ready status.
• Patch drywall holes and perform interior or exterior painting tasks.
• Perform unit trash-outs and remove abandoned items.
• Test appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers/dryers) and coordinate repairs if needed.
• Audit windows, doors, latches, blinds, baseboards, and ceiling fans.
• Rekey doors and swap mailbox lock cylinders as needed.
• Perform light plumbing tasks and fix leaks.
• Maintain property curb appeal by cleaning litter and debris.
• Detail public spaces and keep sidewalks clear with blowers.
