Job summary

Billingsley is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare residential units for new tenants, blending maintenance and housekeeping to ensure strong first impressions and move-in readiness.

You will perform detailed cleaning, minor repairs, and ensure appliances work while keeping common areas tidy. Collaboration with the maintenance team and a focus on safety and customer service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or make ready preferred.
• Detail-oriented with cleanliness and aesthetics in mind.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays and wear uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect units before move-in to meet cleanliness standards.
• Perform minor repairs: painting, plumbing, fixture replacements.
• Ensure appliances and fixtures work and unit is staged.
• Maintain exterior walkways, patios, balconies associated with the units.
• Collaborate with maintenance on repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct final walkthroughs per make-ready checklist.
• Address issues found during move-in inspections.
• Keep records of work and readiness status.
• Store tools safely and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Provide courteous tenant service during the make-ready process.
• Other duties as assigned.
