Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for tours/move-ins by lock changes, inspections, trash-out, punch-out and coordinating vendors.
• Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant units, offices, and amenities; perform repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting).
• Assist with semi-annual property inspections including fire safety and pest control.
• Assist with stock control and inventory reporting.
• Safely use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Complete additional projects under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities of the Make Ready Technician include:

• Preparing apartments for tours/the incoming residents' move-in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• May be called upon to track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities and perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, etc.
• May be called upon to assist with semi-annual property inspections, including fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
• Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required

• A current driver's license is required
• One year of facility or property maintenance experience is required
• EPA/HVAC certification may be required at some properties
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to all Fair Housing regulations are required.
