Job summary

Maxus Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Kings Landing Apartments in Creve Coeur, MO. The role involves hands-on repairs, upkeep of luxury premises, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

You will handle requests, coordinate with vendors, and help prepare units for move-ins while contributing to safety and quality across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of facility or property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required due to on-call rotation.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Track and complete service requests for occupied/vacant units and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting).
• Prepare apartments for tours/move-ins including lock changes and inspections.
• Assist with property inspections, fire safety, pest control, and reporting.
• Assist with stock and inventory control.
• Safely use and maintain maintenance tools and equipment.
• Complete additional projects under the Maintenance Supervisor.

DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities of the full-time Maintenance Technician include:

• Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
• Prepare apartments for tour/following residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Assist with semi-annual property inspections, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
• Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• A current driver’s license is required
• One year of facility or property maintenance experience is required
• HVAC certification is required as this position will rotate on call
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
