Job summary

ONYX Multifamily Group at Eagle Creek Landing in DeSoto, Texas is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant homes for new residents. You will perform minor repairs, painting, cleaning, inspections, and other make-ready tasks to ensure every home is safe, clean, and move-in ready.

Ideal candidates have basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors/in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant apartments and identify repairs and maintenance needs.
• Complete make-ready tasks to meet move-in standards.
• Perform minor repairs including painting and patching.
• Check appliances and HVAC systems.
• Maintain make-ready records and communicate needs.
