Job summary

The Phoenix Staffing is seeking a Make-Ready Technician for multifamily apartment communities in the Dallas area. You will prepare vacant units for new residents, perform make-ready tasks, and ensure units meet community standards and move-in deadlines.

Responsibilities include inspecting units, handling basic plumbing and electrical work, minor carpentry, painting, and coordinating with the maintenance team. Prior apartment experience is required; bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment make-ready or multifamily maintenance experience required.
• Hands-on experience turning apartment homes and making ready for new residents.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, caulking, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to meet move-in deadlines and follow make-ready checklists and standards.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready work and punch items.
• Inspect vacant units and identify repairs and punch-list items needed before move-in.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs and electrical work.
• Complete minor carpentry, drywall, painting, caulking, and hardware repairs.
• Maintain accurate work orders and communicate unit status to the maintenance team.
