Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team in Clinton Township, MI. You will restore vacant apartments to market-ready status, complete full vacant turns on time, and perform repairs such as drywall, painting, plumbing, and appliance work.

Ideal candidates will have prior building maintenance experience, HVAC interest, own tools, and strong communication with residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance preferred, willing to train.
• HVAC certification or experience preferred, willing to train.
• Must possess own tools and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and comfortable with software/apps.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn process on time to meet move-in deadlines.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, locks, windows; carpentry and tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
