Job summary

CYM Living in Chicago, IL is seeking a Punch Technician to join our maintenance team and prepare vacant units for incoming residents. You will paint, clean, and perform basic repairs after move-out, escalating larger repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor so additional internal work or contractor scheduling can be coordinated.

A strong commitment to quality workmanship and timely turns is essential. We expect 1-2 years of painting, drywall repair, cleaning, or general maintenance experience, with

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in painting, drywall repair, cleaning, or general maintenance.
• Unit turn or make-ready experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders or height is required.

Responsibilities

• Paint, clean, and perform basic repairs on vacant units after move-out to prepare them for the next resident.
• Escalate larger repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor for scheduling with internal teams or contractors.
• Maintain high quality of work; ensure no further repairs are needed after a work order is closed unless advised.
