CYM Living LLC is seeking a dependable Punch Technician to join our maintenance team in Chicago. The role focuses on painting, cleaning, and basic repairs after move-out to ensure each unit is move-in ready.

You will escalate larger repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor and help coordinate internal work or contractor scheduling. A strong commitment to quality workmanship, consistency, and meeting turn timelines is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Proficient in painting and basic repairs to prepare units.
• Able to manage time and complete turns on schedule.
• Document work with photos and update time records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Paint, clean, and perform basic repairs on vacant units after move-out.
• Escalate larger repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor for scheduling.
• Maintain high turn quality and ensure no further work is needed after close.
• Gather daily supplies and inform supervisor of needs before cutoff.
• Take unit photos before/after turning and update corresponding work orders.
• Input time on all work orders and close turns as completed.
• Verify weekly hours and statuses in Yardi; notify if issues arise.
• Notify supervisor when paint or supplies run low.
• Maintain accurate time card punches and start on time.
• Complete trash-outs and assist with winter snow removal as instructed.
