The Finger Companies is seeking a dedicated Make Ready I Technician in Houston to ensure vacant apartments are prepared for new tenants. You will handle repairs, replacements, and touch-ups across appliances, fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

You should bring strong maintenance experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced multifamily environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, preferably multifamily or residential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and touch-ups to meet move-in readiness standards.
• Repair/replace appliances, fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry as needed.
• Patch and paint walls, ceilings, and trim to a flawless finish.
• Adhere to EPA/OSHA regulations for safe storage of hazardous materials.
• Change locks and make keys.
• Coordinate with property management to prioritize work orders and turnovers.
