Job summary

Pratum Companies is hiring a Groundsman/Porter to maintain the grounds and building exteriors of the apartment community. You will perform light landscaping, assist with trash-outs, clean common areas, and support make-ready work under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires basic painting skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-3 years of groundskeeping experience. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and communicate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' groundskeeper experience.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment required of the trade.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles related to grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Keep the premises of the office, building, and grounds in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with cleaning, turning and painting vacant apartments.
• Light landscaping and general property upkeep.
• Assist in make-ready preparations and trash-outs for vacant units.
• Clean common areas and assist maintenance staff as directed.
• Assist with snow removal (If applicable).
• Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
