Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain clean and welcoming outdoor spaces and common areas at our properties. The role supports housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of work orders and upholds safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Professionalism and dependability in a team setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and grounds.
• Sweep, scrub, wax floors and clean surfaces as assigned.
• Maintain exterior areas: mowing, trimming, debris removal, snow shoveling.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor upkeep tasks.
• Assist housekeeping/maintenance staff to complete work orders.
• Support safety and training initiatives.
