Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage and execute service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for leasing. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and uphold Greystar standards across common areas and units.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and ability to work with vendors and the Community Manager on budgeted tasks. Onsite work with flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively as liaison with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process by inspecting, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies and completing maintenance tasks.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by others and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
